Friday, Preparing for the Camino

In May of this year I will be walking a portion of the Camino de Santiago with several of my friends.  The Camino, in Spain, is an ancient pilgrims path to Santiago de Compostelo.  The cathedral at the heart of Santiago is thought to be the final resting place of St. James.  For centuries, since Medieval times, Christian pilgrims have walked from all over Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East to Santiago.  And this summer, I will join that pilgrimage.

I will use this space to look at preparations for the journey, and ultimately will share with you the pilgrimage.
